Follow our ANTIQUES ROAD TRIP this year around Devon, or create your own road trip from the numerous locations we feature!" Celebrating 10 Golden Years
Back in August 2012, we cautiously opened a new enterprise - ANTIQUES BAZAAR! This was a completely fresh and original concept for Crewkerne - a large and airy warehouse offering great space for individual businesses to trade from - with a theme on ANTIQUES, VINTAGE, RETRO! We were "full" when we opened, and remain "full" to this day. We marked out around 70 individual units, and added around 20 cabinets. This proved to be a very popular formula, with traders from Bournemouth, Dorchester, Bridport, and more locally here in Crewkerne, Chard and Martock all joining our happy band of traders. Then we were approached by specialist dealers in antiques prints, modern art, jewellery and Turkish pots......... the scene was set!
Over the following 10 years Antiques Bazaar has matured. Successful traders have taken more space; we have opened a terrific plant centre adjacent to the front door. Many new traders have joined us as we created space for more units. Post-Covid, and despite the enforced closures during "lock-down" we are firmly back where we were, with some astounding trade every day - jewellery, furniture, decorative items.
So our 10th Anniversary in August 2022 was a real MILESTONE!
